Ubulu, Ogwashi Culture, Tradition Reverberates in Lagos, as Their Children Rita and Wilson Unite in Marriage

The families of Okwuokei and Ekwenuya from the Aligbo Quarters in Ubulu Uku and Azungwu Quarters in Ogwashi Uku respectively, all in the Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State recently had a wonderful opportunity to hook up, solidify long time relationships, display their culture and tradition outside Aniocha Land, especially in the area of cultural marriage and culinary, when two of their children - Rita Ngozi Okwuokei and Wilson Azubuike Ekwenuya brought them all, including friends and well wishers together to witness their union in marriage.
From the presiding over the occasion done by the Chairman - Mr. Michael, alias SAHCO who flew in from Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, to the presence of other prominent elders, men, women, sons and daughters of Ubulu and Ogwashi decent resident in Lagos as well as those who traveled from across Nigeria even from the Diasporas to the event, the wedding tagged: # RWLOVE24 - "The Hunt is Over," enjoyed a benevolent bright and clear weather affording all opportunity to dine and wine, socialise and give thanks to God Almighty "for a day like this."
Some of the excited dignitaries who spoke with LAGOS CITY NEWS during the proceedings of the event which had the Publisher of ICON BLAZE Magazine Online, a son of Ubulu himself - Prince Charming Olu Leo Isioma Egbunike Ezekiel holding forth as Master of Ceremony, include Mr. Joseph Ofuegbu, Pastor Billy E. Odiaka, Mr. Patrick A. Ikem, Rev. Anthony Aigbi, Mr. Esealuka Emeka, a Retired officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS); Mr. Edward Okwuokei, Bride's father; Mr. Onuwa Austin Ekwenuya and Mrs. Felicia Ekwenuya - Groom's Father and Mother respectively as well as Mr. Wilson Okwuokei Uncle to the groom among others.
They all joined their voices to pray for Almighty God's blessings and protections on the new couple as they undertake their journey in matrimony.
